Miguel initially worked as an accountant for The Back Room’s parent company, Findlay & Co. He has worked as an offshore accountant for New Zealand accounting firms since he earned both his degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy and CPA license in 2014. Using his expertise in Xero and experience in dealing with New Zealand accounting and taxation, he now manages training and onboarding of the Philippines team members at The Back Room.
Miguel considers himself a “bookworm in the cornerâ€, enjoying silent moments by himself, his growing collection of books and his poetry influenced by symphonic metal music. Being born in the culinary capital of the Philippines and raised by a family of kitchen experts, he enjoys exploring different cuisines.
